Sip & Sculpt Pottery Class — 3/2 & 4/9 (Boston MA)

Grab a drink and join us for this inclusive, beginner-friendly pottery class at Sam Adams Downtown Boston Taproom! 

You’ll receive an intro to pottery including the pinch pot and coil technique. Our expert host will cover all the basics, and with step-by-step instructions, you'll learn to handbuild a pinch pot. Then, you'll learn how to make your pot into a variety of functional pottery pieces like a vase, hanging planters, pot for an air plant, candle holders, smiley planter pals, and more.

Sunday 3/2 from 1-3pm & Tuesday 4/9 from 6:30-8:30PM at Sam Adams Downtown Boston Taproom (60 State St, Boston, MA 02109). Delicious drinks available for purchase!

Each ticket includes:

  • 2 hour workshop on pottery basics, how to create pinch pots, coils, and how to transform them into a variety of unique handmade gifts, home décor and functional pottery
  • You'll make + take home 1-3 pieces of pottery
  • Our signature 'Beginner Pottery Kit' which includes everything you need to make your pottery during class (and yours to take home to create more after class!!)
    • Note: You can let your piece of pottery air dry then paint it with the included paint. Or, to make your pottery waterproof + foodsafe, click here to upgrade to ceramic pieces, which includes glazing and firing of your creations
  • Pottery trivia with prizes

    • Choose air dry clay (decorative, includes paint + paintbrush) or ceramic clay (will be fired + glazed to be foodsafe + waterproof, then shipped to you in 4-5 weeks)
  • Pottery trivia with prizes
