My spouse and I had a great time in attending one of the Pottery with a Purpose events! I saw the event over Instagram and was very interested in it (in part due to my own artsy background and the fact that it was at a brewery we like). Being able to sip and work with clay was a fun time! The conversations with the host and the other folks was nice too! Definitely a great event and loved the story behind Pottery with a Purpose!

Also, reading through the event page and also the fact that the event was at a brewery, I figured the type of clay work would be hand/slab/pinch clay (which I prefer). As a person with a clay/art background, pottery wheels and glazing wouldn’t happen in a hand/slab/pinch clay event nor at a place like a brewery because of the mess. Reading through other people’s reviews, maybe that distinction should be made more explicitly, especially if folks don’t realize that glazing is required for food-safe handling, vs basic acrylic which is not food safe.

Beyond that, I had an excellent time and the event met my expectations :)

This was an amazing activity. The supplies were great. The direction, assistance and atmosphere was great. Gloria (the person in charge) was awesome and super patient. Very relaxing, invigorating and overall awesome event. Thanks!

Doing pottery with a purpose was amazing, the teacher was very patient and very knowledgeable and she had a lot of different knowledge for different levels of learners!

Such a fun night out making pottery! Very creative environment and lots of encouragement to try something new! Love my fun fish charcuterie boards! Can’t wait to make something else! Highly recommend trying this out with a friend!

I enrolled both of my children, and they absolutely loved it! They looked forward to attending every day and came home with the most creative projects. The staff is amazing, so kind, welcoming, and wonderful with the kids.

The perfect way to spend an evening - good beer, time with friends, and practicing a fun, new, creative skill. Our instructor was great and I had an absolute blast. Looking forward to taking another class in the future.

Making and painting my own pottery is therapeutic. Such a joy to display my artworks in my apartment!
