Learn the craft of hand-building pottery in this inclusive, beginner-friendly pottery class.Our expert teacher will cover all the basics, and with step-by-step instructions, you'll learn to handbuild a variety of unique, functional pottery pieces like a mug, vase, hanging planter, smiley planter pal, and more. Enjoy creating and using the bouldering environment as inspiration while you make your personalized pottery piece!

Plus, you can explore Bouldering Project before and after class with a free Day Pass that includes access to bouldering, rope climbing, and complementary gear rental! No climbing experience required! BP's staff are happy to provide an orientation to the gym for any new visitors.

Wednesday 1/15 from 6:30-8:30PM at Bouldering Project - Somerville (12A Tyler St Somerville, MA 02143)

Each ticket includes:

A free Day Pass w/ gear rental ($47 value) for non-BBP member attendees. (No climbing experience required! BP's staff are happy to provide an orientation to the gym for any new visitors.)
Smartwater, provided by Coca-Cola, to enjoy during class and while you climb
2 hour workshop on pottery basics, how to create pinch pots, coils, and how to transform them into a variety of unique home décor and functional pottery
You'll make and take home up to 2 pieces of pottery
Our signature 'Beginner Pottery Kit' which includes everything you need to make your pottery during class (and yours to take home to create more after class!!)

Note: You can let your piece of pottery air dry then paint it with the included paint. Or, to make your pottery waterproof + foodsafe, click here to upgrade to ceramic pieces, which includes glazing and firing of your creations.
